About Casino Hold’em Add-on
Casino Hold’em is an add-on game for the Crypto Casino application.
This game can not be installed and used on its own without having Crypto Casino purchased and installed first.
How to play Casino Hold’em
Casino Hold’em is a poker variation, similar to Texas Hold’em. The main difference is that in Casino Holdem you don’t play with other players, but only against the dealer.
The Casino Hold’em goal is to beat the Dealer’s hand. Casino Hold’em starts with Ante bet. The first step is to receive two face-up cards for you, two hidden – for the Dealer and three flop cards – again with faces up. After receiving your two cards and the three “flop” cards, you have to evaluate your hand and choose among the following.
- Fold – you lose your Ante bet and the game is over.
- Call – you continue with an additional Call bet (equal to twice the Ante bet) and two extra community cards are dealt.
When all the five flop cards are on the table, the Dealer’s cards are turned over. Your best hand is formed by a combination between your own two cards and the five flop cards. The hands are compared to each other and the highest one wins the game.
You might make an additional bonus bet called AA bonus bet. Bonus bet counts your two own cards and the three flop cards, dealt on the first round of the game. This bet is not related to the other dealing results. You might lose the game, but the bonus bet might win or vice versa. Bonus bet pays only if you get a pair of aces or a better hand.
Dealer qualifies only with a hand starting from Pair of 4 and higher. If the Dealer does not qualify the Ante bet is paid according the Ante paytable and the Call bet is returned. If the Dealer qualifies, and the player’s hand is better than the dealer’s, the Ante bet pays according to the Ante paytable and the Call bet pays 1 to 1. If the dealer qualifies, and the dealer’s hand is equal to the player’s, all bets are push. If the dealer qualifies, and the dealer’s hand is better than the player’s, the player loses all bets.

Provably fair
When you open the game page the server generates a secret and a seed and reveals its hash (using HMAC SHA256 algorithm). The server secret represents randomly shuffled card deck. The server seed is a cryptographically secure random alpha-numeric string. The hash of these 2 strings helps to ensure that the initial card deck is not altered after you choose the bet amount. After the game is finished the server secret and the server seed are revealed, so you can easily calculate and verify the hash.
When you play a game you can pass an extra custom string – client seed (if it’s not specified a random number is automatically generated by your browser). The server will then calculate another hash using the server secret, the server seed and the client seed. The last 5 chars of this hash (representing a hexadecimal value) will be converted to an integer. The result number will be divided by 52 (number of cards in the deck) and N cards will be cut (moved from the top to the bottom of the deck), where N is the remainder of the division. Because the client seed can not be predicted by the server the number of cards cut from the initial deck is completely random and hence you can be sure that the game result is fair.
To check that a game you played was fair go to History >> My games page, select a game and click Verify button.
