How to update the theme

Automatic Update

1. Install the Envato Market Plugin.
2. Go to “Dashboard -> Envato Market -> Settings” and follow the steps below for full activation.
3. Update the Theme: Go to “Envato Market -> Themes” and click update text.
4. Update Mow Core Plugin: After updating the theme, a notification will appear: “New Version Available: A new version of the mow-core plugin is available.” Click the “Update Now” button in the notification, and the plugin will automatically update.

Alternative Update

1. Go to your WordPress dashboard.
2. Deactivate and delete the “Mow Core” plugin from the Plugins page.
3. Download the latest theme files from your ThemeForest downloads page: https://themeforest.net/downloads.
4. Locate the mow.zip file, then upload and install it via the Themes section (replace the existing Mow theme).
5. Install and activate the newly required plugins.

Version 2.1.4 March 09, 2025

Added: added all demo templates to the main package. Now, you can import only the necessary page templates without loading the full demo content, such as posts, pages, products, media files, and other elements. This significantly simplifies working with the theme, as you can now create multiple different homepage layouts on a single website without having to remove or replace existing content. Additionally, a detailed readme.txt file is now included in the templates folder, providing a step-by-step guide on how to set up any homepage. It explains how to properly create a new page, which settings need to be adjusted (such as disabling the page title, selecting the Full Width container mode, and choosing the correct page template depending on the demo), and what specific options should be applied for each demo. The file also contains a complete list of available templates, specifying the blog layouts used, sidebar configurations, and appropriate page types. Furthermore, it clarifies that some demos, such as the RELINK Demo, were built exclusively using the WordPress editor and do not include templates for Elementor. With this update, users can set up homepages more quickly and efficiently without needing to import unnecessary content. This not only saves time but also allows for more flexible website design management.
